A wealth of excellent new material plus a release from four years back. There is the usual eclectic mix of music that will not fit on the radio shows. A good part of the show features tracks from a compilation of 37 south east QLD (Australia) artists, who have mobilised to contribute tracks to raise funds in response to the unrelenting humanitarian crisis in Gaza. With the exception of a handful of tracks, Solidarity Soundwaves features pieces that have been newly created in reaction to the myriad of emotions brought up by the harrowing daily events that are (unbelievably) still occurring.
